IZL Model Shop
Do you like the looks of a model that was posted on the home page? Want one for yourself? Run over to the IZation Labs Shop at Shapeways and see if the model is available for printing and purchasing. After a quick payment and a wait of just over a week you could be holding your very own printed 3D model.
Just think! The item held in your hand originally only existed on a computer somewhere, and it was printed. Literally laid out layer by layer by a machine that can take three dimensional models and turn them into solid objects. Plus, purchasing a model earns you karma points, as a tiny bit of the cost of each item (typically a dollar or two) actually goes to me, and helps pay for server costs.
If the item you are looking for isn’t available, let me know via the ScratchSpace or email and I’ll do my best to get it printable in a timely manner. Better still, if there is an item you would like to see modeled and printed, sketch it out and email it to me, and we’ll see what we can do!
